I'll be 52 in two months.
I started playing guitar at 14 and played a few night clubs around 18. Then I got a real job and played on and off (more off than on) til 35. Then one day I decided I should get back to it and saw an ad in a magazine for Metal Method. I ordered it and really enjoyed getting back to playing regularly, until I discovered the power of keyboards and sequencers... In the past 10 years I've been experimenting a lot with that technology but it was always lacking something (real guitars)! Since I had'nt played for almost 10 years I was quite rusty and decided to go back to Metal Method but my old VHS player started eating the tapes so I had to re-order the DVD version (which is a lot easier to use anyway).
So for a year now I got back to practicing guitar and it really made a big improvement to my home recordings (I could do rythm sections with no problem but I had lost my ability to solo and it's all coming back).
